Our team of skilled bricklayers, tuckpointers and stone masons have been honing their craft for a collective 100+ years and stand out for their strong work ethic, attention to detail and respect for safety — all foremen are OSHA-30 certified.

Co-founder Kay Owen received his City & Guilds qualifications in masonry in London, England and has been working on commercial and residential projects in the Twin Cities for nearly two decades. His knowledge of historic and contemporary masonry makes him a valuable resource for contractors, engineers, property managers and building owners.

Co-founder Josette Hutchinson has degrees in media production and strategic communications and a background executing multimedia campaigns. Her strengths in creative problem solving, strategic planning and project management — along with a love of old buildings — help clients make smart use of timelines and resources.
